Canada Bay of Quinte Yacht Club (BQYC) とバージ交換を行いました

2019年5月12日 Canada Bay of Quinte Yacht Club (BQYC) とバージ交換を行いました。
昨年よりジョインしたJason boorくんの母国カナダで父親の所属しているヨットクラブです。
BQYCはオンタリオ湖にある創設1876年（なんと明治6年!)の歴史あるヨットクラブです。
Boorくんは東京に来て、彼の父親が古くから熱中しているセーリングに興味を持ち、昨年4月にマリーナに直接来て縁あってヨットをはじめました。
今ではTYC会員となり、レース、クルージング、パーティーと積極的に活動しています。
昨年夏にカナダ帰国した際に父親に会い、TYCの話や、レース中のオンボードカメラのビデオを一緒にみて盛り上がり、
ヨットをはじめたboorくんに大変喜びバージ交換をすることになりました。
わたくしたちも、新しい仲間とつながることができうれしいです。
TYCでは国内外を問わず他クラブ、外来艇、ヨットクラブ所属のゲスト、TYC会員が訪問したヨットクラブとバージ交換をして交流を深めています。
クラブハウスのバージは数100を超え世界中でも数はトップクラスを誇ります。

On May 15,2019. We changed the burgee of Canada’s Bay of Quinte Yacht Club (BQYC). It’s a yacht club to which Mr. Boor’s father belongs in his home country of Canada. BQYC is a historic yacht club near Lake Ontario, founded in 1876.( This is Meiji 6!) Mr. Boor came to Tokyo and was interested in sailing since his father had always been passionate. Coming directly to the marina in April last year and started sailing by fate. Now he is a TYC member and actively works with races, cruising and parties. When he returned to Canada last summer, he met his father, who was very happy that his son starting sailing and wished to change the burgee with the TYC. We are also happy to be able to connect with new friends. TYC exchange burgees with other clubs in Japan and abroad, visitors to the boat, yacht club guests, and yacht clubs visited by TYC members. The clubhouse burgees are in excess of several hundred and are among the top in the world. Please take a look at the burgee of the clubhouse once.
